I had some computer problems in Dec./Jan. that required use of an older computer, then wiping and re-populating the regular one -- probably enough to make me unrecognizable to the spam filter. <br /><br />I'm finding myself fascinated not only by the neglect of Griffiths (which does, indeed, open up possibilities), but by the earlier authors' need to supply information that wasn't solidly grounded. There seems to be resistance not only to knowing anything about Griffiths (which I can understand in a way -- one has to stop following threads sometime, though I agree there are gender dynamics at work here), but to admitting the limits of their knowledge/investigation.
